The International Council of Investors (ICI) is an independent, non-political and non-profit organization based on the free will of the citizens to assemble and to contribute to the general scientific, social and cultural development of the country. It was established in year 2002 in Skopje.

The International Council of Investors supports the needs and the ideas of the foreign investors community, and cooperates with the government as well as with the international organizations present in the country, with a view to encourage the government to take the necessary steps that would, together with the efforts to the private sector, further improve the economic, business and investment environment in the country and boost sustainable economic growth.

The goals and the activities of the ICI as defined with the Statute are designed to provide efficient cooperation among the private sector, the local authorities and the international organizations, to promote the private sector in general, as well as to foster the cooperation among all the subjects involved in the process of improvement of the investment climate of the country.

ICI serves as intermediary among the companies and decision- makers in the country, provides advisory and networking activities for its members as well as organizes events where the members can exchange experience, views and where they can expend their network.

Established in 2002, ICI today presents a well-known and reputable representative of the foreign business community in the country.

Through continuous efforts of its Executive Committee and the administrative personnel and based on the constant support of its members ICI has managed to be an influential partner of the competent authorities of the country.

It also participates actively in all regional activities of the investors' associations in South Eastern Europe , as well as of other international organizations. www.regionalfic.org .

Our prospects and targets for the near future are also designed to demonstrate our increasing influence and to positively support the investment climate in the country.

Evidence for our efforts is the White Bible on foreign investment and improvement of the investment climate in the country, created by ICI . The White Bible constitutes the basic tools for improving the business and investment environment of the country through consultation with the Government and the same serves as a very useful guide for potential new investors.
