Skopje, June 7, 2010.    

The International Council of Investors -- (ICI) organized and held a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Mr. Fatmir Besimi.

The event was attended by the highest representatives of the Companies Members of the ICI, as well as by the highest representatives of the OECD, the Investment Compact  for the South East Europe.

The meeting itself proved to be a very fruitful one, and the issues discussed were focused on the overall business climate in the country in general, the co-operation between the companies with the Government and the competent Ministries, the measures to be undertaken in future and the projections for the year 2010 at a time of the economic crisis still being felt in the various aspects of the business sphere, and last but not least, the progress of the investment reform in the country, with an extensive overview being directed to the Investment Reform Index 2010.
